Young & Upcoming South African Writer “James Rule was born in Johannesburg and went to St Stithians Junior School until grade two. He then moved to Cape Town and has since attended Bishops High School and is currently in grade eleven. He plays cricket, hockey and is a cross country runner. He enjoys reading, writing, target shooting and travelling. He lives in Cape Town with his mom, dad and sister, as well as his dog and cat.” The book is about… “An amusing journey through the eyes of a 16 year old South African on the loose in Perth, Australia (just in case you didn’t notice the flag on the cover). He attended a private boys’ school there as an exchange student. There, many humorous incidents happened in the classroom, on camp and while socialising down under. The considerable stress and risk in the lead up to being selected culminated in the realisation of a once in a lifetime opportunity which he grabbed with both hands.
